Community Mission And Values Hero 1

We believe that teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect create an environment where everyone is motivated to be and do their best. We understand interdependence and consider the impact of business decisions on residents, associates, families, local partners, and owners.

We recognize that our attitudes directly affect our residents and each other. We know positivity is integral to holistic well-being and is a collective effort, shared and amplified by associates, residents, families, and our local partners alike. We support residents and each other in building resilience, helping residents to navigate the challenges of aging and dementia with warmth and tenderness.

We think before we act, because we are ultimately responsible for our actions and decisions. We exhibit empathy and integrity. We strive to know and honor each other’s stories and to make each moment meaningful. We exhibit behavior that inspires others to do what’s right for our residents, their families, and our associates.

We believe that optimal well-being can be achieved at any age, and we aim to create an environment that encourages individuality and independence. We believe that the right mix of sleep, nutrition, natural light, movement, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for play are the secret to living an inspired and present life.

We know that while we pride ourselves on what we do, continuous improvement is how we maintain an Artis level of quality. We know that profitability allows us to maintain our promises to residents and families. We embrace change, nimbly adapt from failures, and frequently celebrate successes.

Hear that? It’s the sound of families exploring Play as Connection throughout May.

Join us later this month at our Power of Play signature event – The Mother’s Day Sound Connection Studio, an experience that centers on sound, listening, and presence that goes beyond words.

We’ll gather to create wind chimes that soothe and connect us in the moment – and become a keepsake and reminder of the bonds we share. 🎐💙

🎤 Hi, it’s Serenity, Director of Sales and Marketing at Artis. Family support comes in many forms here at Artis – support groups, phone calls – and our little library! It’s full of books we recommend to help navigate the dementia journey – see the list here: artisseniorliving.com/articles/ Take a look, it’s in a book! 📚

I’ve had such a great time taking you on a tour of what I’m proud to show families every day – how our thoughtful community design, combined with our person-centered programming, and family support, can make such a difference in their and their loved one’s well-being. I’ll soon be passing the mic to another one of my compassionate colleagues here at Artis, so stay tuned! 💙

Happy Earth Day! 🌍🌱

Today, we pause to honor Mother Nature – the sunshine streaming through the windows, the flowers coming into bloom, and the simple pleasure of getting our hands a little dirty in the garden.

However you connect with nature today, we hope it brings you joy!

With spring springing up all over, we invited nature to come inside and play at April’s Power of Play signature event!

Leaves, petals, and branches were our brushes as we painted using the natural elements of spring at 🌿 From Garden to Gallery: Creating with Nature.🌿

Not only did the event help promote sensory engagement and sustained focus for our residents – we created some beautiful art to enjoy throughout spring and beyond!
