I’ll start by saying that no place is perfect but Artis Wilmette comes pretty close. We moved our mom into Artis a little over a year ago. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives. Staff are kind, caring and thoughtful. Tracey, the Executive Director, has an open door policy and she is receptive to all communication . The activities available to residents are stimulating, meaningful and planned around resident interest. Rita, the Activity Director is imaginative and inclusive and she approaches each activity with positive energy and kindness. There is a monthly support group offered to families lead by Maggie, Director of Artis Way. It includes a mixture of guest speakers and time for families to get together to share experiences. If you choose to visit you will be greeted by sweet Kayla who always has a smile and fills you in on all of the daily happenings including the many family parties with live music in the courtyard. The Care Partners are kind and collaborative with nursing to ensure loved ones best care. If you are looking to move your loved one into MC I highly recommend a visit to Artis. Thank you Artis for all you do!!!

I love working here. The place is decorated well. There’s always a celebration. You know it when it’s Mother’s Day, Easter, etc. The nurses and staff are friendly, approachable and really takes care of the residents well being.
