💃✨ Today was full of fun, music, and exciting moves! Our residents enjoyed a special visit from a talented belly dancer who danced with everyone and even showed us a few of her amazing tricks! 🎶💖 There were plenty of smiles, laughter, dancing, and wonderful moments as our residents joined in on the fun.

Meet Monica D., Positive Partner of the Month at Artis of Davie in Florida!
National Hispanic Heritage Month honors the cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans, including El Salvador, where Monica’s family is from. We’re proud to share how her roots inspire the care she brings to residents every day. 🇸🇻
“In my culture, I was raised to respect and honor my elders, and that carries over into the care I provide to our residents,” said Monica. “Putting a smile on a resident’s face makes me feel like I’m serving my purpose.”
“Monica is a caregiver who leads with intention,” said Executive Director Reggie Wilcox. “She has amazing rapport with our families and residents, and she is extremely thorough when it comes to explaining the “why” behind the care she’s providing. Our residents adore her. Whenever there’s a need in the community, she goes above and beyond. She’s super crafty and loves to jump in wherever help is needed. She’s a devoted mother, wife, daughter and sister, and she’s a great asset to Artis of Davie.”
