🥑 Looks can be deliciously deceiving!
This week’s Culinary Creations had our residents doing a double take! 👀
At first glance, it looks like a perfectly ripe avocado… but one bite reveals a creamy white chocolate and avocado mousse nestled inside a real avocado shell, topped with a rich dark chocolate “pit” and a fresh blueberry.
We even turned it into a fun guessing game:
Is it real… or is it dessert? 🤔🍫
The smiles, laughter, and surprise made this sweet creation just as enjoyable as the dessert itself.

🥑✨ The Avocadolicious Treats Continue! ✨🥑
This week brought a unique and delicious surprise — our Residents enjoyed Chicken Tempura Midori Rolls, and they were an absolute hit.
Crispy chicken tempura, fresh avocado, cucumber, cream cheese, and scallions wrapped in seasoned sushi rice and nori, then finished with sweet eel sauce and spicy mayo. Every bite delivered a perfect balance of crunch, creaminess, and bold flavor.
The Residents loved it so much — the flavors 💥 exploded on their taste buds.
A huge thank‑you to our fire kickers, our incredible Culinary Team, for always bringing creativity, quality, and joy to our community dining experience.

🌿 Growing Joy Through Horticultural Therapy 🌿
Yesterday our residents enjoyed a meaningful horticultural therapy session that engaged the senses and nurtured the spirit. By using their hands to feel the rich soil, explore different plant textures, and carefully plant flowers and greenery, they experienced the many therapeutic benefits of connecting with nature.
Gardening encourages fine motor skills, stimulates the senses, promotes conversation, and brings back cherished memories while providing a wonderful sense of purpose and accomplishment for our residents. 🌱💚
