Memory Care Services
We believe optimal well-being is something to strive for throughout our lives.
Memory care is our singular focus at Artis. Our approach to care is designed to help people living with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia feel empowered and involved in their own care. We collaborate with the resident, their family, doctors, and care partners to create an intentional, assessment-based plan of care.
Memory Care Services Include:
24/7 supervision by on-site licensed nursing staff
Associates with dementia care and CPR training on-site at all times
Daily living assistance with showering, dressing/undressing, grooming, and oral care
Assistance with using the restroom, personal hygiene, and continence support
Medication management
Housekeeping, linens, laundry, and suite maintenance
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and anytime snacks, with dietitian-approved menus
Escorts to meals and events
More advanced care services* are also available based on assessed resident needs, including:

due to increased support needs.
Mealtime assistance
Complex medication management (nine or more routine meds and/or supplements)
Diabetic support
Total incontinence support
Behavioral and emotional health support
Assistance with mobility and medical equipment
Coordination with third-party and visiting therapists, clinicians, and specialists for services including pharmacy, podiatry, psychiatry, dentistry, home care, and hospice
PT/OT Available On-Site
We also engage residents in specialized programs and therapies designed to stimulate cognitive function and promote emotional well-being, including music and art therapy, memory-enhancing exercises and games, reminiscence therapy, and sensory stimulation exercises.
