This week we showed appreciation to our Coordinators of Health & Wellness (the nurses of West Shore)! 🩺💕
The calling of a nurse is strong in those who have it, and an even more special calling to help care for our friends with memory impairment.
We are so grateful to our CHW’s who have answered that call and show so much compassion in their work!
The residents tie dyed their appreciation into each uniquely patterned shirt for the unique care we give at Artis.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month – and at Artis, we know that supporting our residents means supporting the families and caregivers who love them, too.
Caregiving is meaningful work. It's also emotionally demanding in ways that are easy to minimize and hard to sustain alone. Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. adults are currently caring for a loved one – and many are doing so without much support of their own.
