Farm fun right in our own backyard!

We loved having Little Patch of Heaven Inc. stop by for an afternoon petting zoo.
Our residents and families had a blast meeting a sweet goat, a chicken, a very vocal rooster 🐓, 2 fluffy bunnies🐰 and and a gorgeous black miniature pony rocking ribbons in her mane! 🎀 🐴 Thank you to everyone who came out to share the smiles and love on these adorable animals & a big thank to Little Patch of Heaven Inc you for taking time out if their busy day to bringing them!

Our residents got some "fresh ink" today! 🌸🦋
In honor of National Tattoo Day, we broke out the temporary tattoos! The runaway favorites on the unit were definitely the beautiful florals and colorful butterflies. Our residents had an absolute blast picking out their designs and proudly showing off their new artwork!
It was a simple, unexpected activity that brought out so many smiles, great conversations, and a wonderful pop of color to our afternoon.

We celebrated Bastille Day in style this week! Our residents tapped into their creative sides to craft miniature French flags, and we rounded out the afternoon by sharing some delicious, French-themed appetizers and refreshments.
Despite France's tough loss to Spain in the World Cup semi-finals, our spirits remained high! It was a beautiful afternoon filled with great food, wonderful company, and plenty of joy. Vive la France! ✨
