Mission: safer, more connected, more celebrated lives.
Our Values
The Artis Way
Our guiding principles help us set a high standard for quality, safety and well-being, every day.
A
All Together
We believe that teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect create an environment where everyone is motivated to be and do their best. We understand interdependence and consider the impact of business decisions on residents, associates, families, local partners, and owners.
r
Radiate Positivity & Compassion
We recognize that our attitudes directly affect our residents and each other. We know positivity is integral to holistic well-being and is a collective effort, shared and amplified by associates, residents, families, and our local partners alike. We support residents and each other in building resilience, helping residents to navigate the challenges of aging and dementia with warmth and tenderness.
t
Thoughtfulness Wins
We think before we act, because we are ultimately responsible for our actions and decisions. We exhibit empathy and integrity. We strive to know and honor each other’s stories and to make each moment meaningful. We exhibit behavior that inspires others to do what’s right for our residents, their families, and our associates.
i
Inspired Well-Being
We believe that optimal well-being can be achieved at any age, and we aim to create an environment that encourages individuality and independence. We believe that the right mix of sleep, nutrition, natural light, movement, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for play are the secret to living an inspired and present life.
s
Strive To Be Better
We know that while we pride ourselves on what we do, continuous improvement is how we maintain an Artis level of quality. We know that profitability allows us to maintain our promises to residents and families. We embrace change, nimbly adapt from failures, and frequently celebrate successes.
ARTIS REELS
Real people. Real moments. Real Artis.
Watch how our associates show up for our residents and each other. Whether it’s leadership, compassion, strategic thinking, creativity, humor, or heart – our team’s superpowers shine bright every day.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month – and at Artis, we know that supporting our residents means supporting the families and caregivers who love them, too.
Caregiving is meaningful work. It's also emotionally demanding in ways that are easy to minimize and hard to sustain alone. Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. adults are currently caring for a loved one – and many are doing so without much support of their own.
To help, we put together some thoughts on how caregivers can protect their well-being, and how friends and family can show up for the caregivers in their lives.🔗 artisseniorliving.com/blog/caring-for-the-caregiver-supporting-mental-health-well-being/

This week in Cooking Club, residents created a delicious and healthy vegan dessert — Silky Tofu Chocolate Mousse! 🍫✨ With everyone focusing more on protein and healthier food choices, this was a fun and interesting way to satisfy a sweet tooth while trying something new. Residents were surprised at how creamy and tasty the dessert turned out, making it a big hit with the group! 🍓🥄💚

As Nurses Week comes to an end, we had an amazing time celebrating the incredible nurses who bring compassion, comfort, and dedication to our community every single day.
This week was made even more special with the helping hands of one of our wonderful residents, Sherri, who worked alongside our Director of Community Integration, Alle, to help prepare thoughtful gifts for our nurses.
A huge shoutout goes to the amazing food trucks that helped us celebrate in the most delicious way!
Thank you to the Egyptian food truck for the flavorful dishes and to Leila’s Crepe Truck for the sweet treats that our associates absolutely loved.
Thank you to our hardworking nurses who care for our residents and families each and every day!

🎶 A familiar song. The soft chime of wind through hanging shells. A melody hummed quietly together.
Sound has a unique way of reaching people living with dementia – engaging memory, emotion, and presence in ways that feel natural and unforced.
At Artis, our Power of Play programming uses music, rhythm, and sensory experience to create moments of genuine connection between residents and the people who love them.
This Mother's Day, Artis communities are hosting a special Sound Connection Studio where residents and families will come together to create wind chimes by hand – pausing to listen and explore together.
