For people living with dementia, creating art with materials like leaves, petals, and branches offers calming effects while promoting sensory engagement and sustained focus. Birdwatching program was the perfect way to enjoy a beautiful day! We started by watching a “Birds of New York” video, then headed to spot some feathered friends ourselves. With birds singing all around us, residents had fun seeing how many we could find. Everyone enjoyed the fresh air, sunshine, and time together in our backyard 🌿🐦☀️
