Our residents enjoyed a wonderful social outing to Hunan Delight, where they laughed, chatted, and enjoyed some of their favorite dishes together.
Community outings like these do so much more than provide a change of scenery—they encourage social connection, independence, and meaningful experiences while creating opportunities to stay engaged with the world around us. Moments like these remind us that joy can be found in the simplest things: great food, familiar faces, and time spent together.

There’s nothing quite like a little movement, laughter, and teamwork to brighten the day! 🌈💙
Today our friends from RSI joined us for an interactive therapy session filled with parachute games, beach balls, smiles, and plenty of encouragement. Activities like these do so much more than get us moving—they help improve coordination, promote strength and flexibility, encourage social connection, and bring moments of pure joy.

🐍🦉🦎 What an unforgettable adventure today at Olney Memory Care by Artis!
Our friends from Echoes of Nature stopped by with some incredible animal ambassadors, giving our residents the chance to see, learn about, and even gently interact with everything from a curious rat and a bearded dragon to a tiny owl… and yes… a snake! 🐀🦉🐍
These hands-on experiences spark curiosity, encourage conversation, and create meaningful moments that bring smiles to everyone in the room. There was plenty of laughter, a few surprised faces, and lots of bravery!
And we have to give a special shoutout to our Director of Health & Wellness, Kim… whose facial expression when the snake got a little too close is one for the history books! 🤣 We couldn’t stop laughing, and thankfully she was a great sport about it!
Thank you, Echoes of Nature, for another amazing visit. We can’t wait to see what wild friends you’ll bring next! 💙
