Our Community Car Show at Olney Memory Care by Artis was everything we hoped it would be and more!
Even with temperatures reaching 95°, our community showed up in a BIG way. We welcomed over 35 amazing classic and muscle cars, enjoyed delicious food from Grubbing Hard BBQ, cooled off with FREE Kona Ice, and had a fantastic time with music, laughter, and great company all evening long.
The best part wasn’t just the cars—it was seeing our residents, families, neighbors, local businesses, and community partners all coming together to create unforgettable memories.

Our residents had an absolute blast designing their very own sunglasses during our “Fun in the Sun” activity! From colorful gems and flowers to pearls and unique designs, everyone got to show off their creativity and personality.
The best part wasn’t just the finished sunglasses—it was seeing the laughter, conversations, and proud smiles as everyone modeled their one-of-a-kind creations. Moments like these remind us that joy can be found in the simplest activities.

🐾 Meet Arty, the newest member of our Olney Memory Care family! 💙
Thanks to a generous donation, our residents now have a lifelike therapy cat that purrs, meows, moves, and responds just like a real cat. The smiles, laughter, gentle cuddles, and conversations it sparked today were truly heartwarming.
For many individuals living with dementia, sensory experiences like these can provide comfort, reduce anxiety, encourage engagement, and even bring back cherished memories of beloved pets.
Thank you to the generous donor who made this possible. Ardy has already found a special place in so many hearts, and we can’t wait to see all the joy this sweet companion brings in the days ahead. 🐱❤️
