Our residents had an absolute blast during this week’s indoor bowling activity! Laughter filled the room as everyone took turns rolling for strikes, cheering each other on, and enjoying a little friendly competition.
Bowling is always a favorite here — it keeps us moving, brings out our playful side, and creates wonderful moments of connection. We love seeing our residents light up with joy during activities like this.

We’ve had a wonderful start to the new year here at Olney Memory Care! Our residents have been staying active, engaged, and connected through a variety of enriching activities throughout January.
From creative arts and crafts to music sessions, group games, cozy winter socials, and wellness-focused movement activities, our community has been full of laughter, conversation, and meaningful moments. It’s been a joy watching friendships grow and seeing our residents shine in the activities they love most.

“I’m a Caregiver — Now What?”
This gentle conversation will share practical tips for managing stress, caring for yourself, and finding helpful resources — all in a kind, understanding, and judgment-free space.
After the talk, we are honored to host a book signing with resident spouse, Mr. Tarka, author of Forever Bound — a touching collection of poems written for his wife living with dementia. His words reflect devotion, presence, and the small moments of love that still mean so much every day.

Our residents had a great time in wood shop class building model cars, planes, and tanks! From assembling pieces to admiring the finished projects, everyone enjoyed getting hands-on and creative.
Activities like this encourage focus, problem-solving, and meaningful engagement — and it was wonderful to see the pride and smiles as each project came together. 💙
