ARTIS REELS
Real people. Real moments. Real Artis.
Watch how our residents and team members bring our value of “Inspired Well-Being”
to life in every story.
Maverick shares the joy of seeing his grandmother thrive at Artis — from compassionate care to creative expression through art. “It’s just a joy,” he says, watching her engage and connect in a place where genuine people support and uplift each resident.
Life Enrichment at Artis is powered by people with the training, heart, and intuition to transform everyday moments into meaningful experiences. Meet Marlene, one of our Life Enrichment Directors, whose superpower is discovering what brings each resident to life.

“I always wanted to paint more … now I paint every day.”

At the Artis of Palm Coast, we had the honor of celebrating an incredible milestone—Oswaldo and Ana’s 68th wedding anniversary! ❤️
Their love story began all the way back in middle school in Cuba, where a lifelong journey together first took root. In 1971, they courageously left Cuba in search of a better future, escaping communism and building a beautiful life together.
Oswaldo’s favorite career was working as an airplane mechanic, though his education in agriculture and passion for building things always kept his hands and heart busy. Ana found joy in being a seamstress, and one of her greatest loves has always been cooking and sharing meals with those around her.
Sixty-eight years of marriage is a remarkable testament to love, resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment. We are so grateful to have celebrated this special day with them and to hear a small piece of the beautiful story they’ve written together.
Happy 68th Anniversary, Oswaldo and Ana! Honoring yesterday, celebrating today. 🌹 #TheArtisWay #anniversary ... See MoreSee Less

When was the last time someone asked how you’re doing?
Not as the daughter. Not as the caregiver. As a person. July 24 was International Self-Care Day – and if you're caring for a loved one living with dementia, this one is for you. More than 53 million Americans provide unpaid care each year. The exhaustion is real. So is the guilt that often comes with taking a break. But here's a reminder worth holding onto: your loved one doesn't need a perfect caregiver. They need a healthy one. Self-care isn't selfish – it’s how you keep showing up with love. 🫶
