Movement

Daily adaptive, instructor-led classes help build strength, balance, and cardiovascular health.

Hand massages, reminiscence cards, aromatherapy, and task bins offer tactile stimulation. 

Music

Guided listening sessions and playing instruments together help support cognitive health. 

Pet Therapy

Visiting therapy animals offer emotional support, and help reduce stress and anxiety. 

Monthly Group Outings

Trips to local museums, parks, and restaurants keep residents safely engaged with the greater community.

Town Hall Meetings

Residents and families have a voice in community policies and events in, discussion with community leaders. 

Volunteering

Residents have opportunities to remain involved with charities and organizations, and continue to make a difference through our “ICAN” program.

Artis Postcards

Our “IWRITE” assisted letter-writing program helps residents stay connected with family and friends.

At Artis, our Director of Community Integration and Director of Life Enrichment work hand in hand to help residents continue living the lives they love. 💙 By partnering with families, they take the time to learn each resident’s passions and discover meaningful ways to create opportunities to truly thrive.
One beautiful example is Arvid. An avid traveler and photographer, Arvid transforms photos from his journeys into short films that allow him to relive and share his adventures. Travel and creativity are close to his heart—and so is his faith. He shares the films he has made every Wednesday with "Arvid's Adventures" which can be found on our enrichment calendar. Each Sunday, Arvid leads a sermon for fellow residents who share his beliefs, creating connection, purpose, and community.
These are just some of the many ways we inspire our residents every day by honoring who they have been, celebrating who they are today, and supporting what continues to bring them joy.

Celebrating February's Positive Partner of the Month- John P. (pictured with his supervisor Geo)!!!

John P. was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida, and brings a strong work ethic shaped by years of hands-on experience. His first job was at The Lakeland Ledger, where he loaded trucks and worked the press. He later spent nine years supporting the housekeeping department at Daytona Speedway, followed by a role as a stocking associate at the Palm Coast Walmart.

We are fortunate to have John as part of the Artis Palm Coast team for nearly five years. He is known for being detail-oriented, thorough in his work, and always ready to answer a call for help. John connects naturally with residents, engaging with them warmly and respectfully each day.

Outside of work, John is an eco-warrior- riding his e-bike around town rain or shine. He’s also an avid video gamer who enjoys the immersive experiences of the Zombie Apocalypse series.

John, congratulations on receiving the Positive Partner honor. This recognition is truly well deserved, and we are grateful for all that you bring to our community!

We recently had the joy of hosting a special luncheon with our families as part of our Comfort Box Initiative, a Life Enrichment–led program designed to deepen connection, comfort, and calm for our residents. 💙

This meaningful gathering gave families the opportunity to sit alongside their loved ones, share stories, and create personalized keepsakes together—items filled with memories, love, and familiarity. Each keepsake will become part of a resident’s Comfort Box, offering reassurance, grounding, and a sense of home whenever it’s needed.

Moments like these remind us that true enrichment comes from connection. We are grateful to our families for partnering with us in creating something so personal and heartfelt for our community.

We Took a Trip Back to the 1950s! 🎶

The Plaza at Artis Senior Living was transformed into a lively ’50s Sock Hop, complete with early rock ’n’ roll and Rhythm & Blues favorites performed by Debbie and Tony T! 🎤🎸

Classic soda floats kept everyone energized while the dance floor filled with smiles, toe-tapping, and plenty of merriment. It was a fun-filled afternoon of music, memories, and movement—proof that the good times never go out of style!
