The Artis Gourd Imagination Lab
🎨 Creativity lives in the senses. By exploring texture, shape, color, and sound, we light up multiple pathways in the brain, each a new doorway to expression and connection.
Join us in celebrating the humble, wonderfully weird decorative gourd. Wrap them in ribbon, turn them into shakers, sort them by size, or help build a gourd village. However you participate, you belong at the table!

An Artis Virtual Workshop for Families
End of life is something most people don’t want to talk about. We often do not have the proper documents or discussions with our families when they are physically and cognitively able. Join us for an informative program led by End-of-Life Doula Chelsea Duckers about ways to help ensure a dying person’s wishes are honored, and everyone is prepared for the journey.

What a week of SHINING! ✨
We celebrated Assisted Living Week with a journey through the decades, filled with music, memories, laughter, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate the incredible lives and stories of our residents.
From childhood memories and the sounds of the ’40s, ’50s, ’60s to “America Got Cool: Burgers, Beats & the Birth of Cool,” every day brought something special. 🎶
We enjoyed chef demonstrations, sandwich sampling and delicious bites inspired by the decades. We took our taste buds on a journey with a special Monte Cristo Day, explored the stories behind some of our favorite foods, and shared plenty of “remember when?” moments along the way.
We danced to old favorites, explored the history behind the foods and traditions we love, laughed together, and created new memories while reminiscing about the ones that made us who we are.
Every song told a story. Every flavor held a memory. Every shared laugh reminded us that the best part of every generation is the life, love, laughter, and wisdom it leaves behind.
Because the years may change… but the SHINE never fades. ✨💛
