I have had the tremendous privilege and honor of overseeing the daily operations of the community for over two years now. I have never been more proud of a team or organization as I am of Artis Senior Living. The Artis Way is lived out everyday both at the community level and within the support team. Artis specializes in memory care and you can see that every detail of what we do has that in mind. We have an amazing team that provides the daily care for our residents. Your loved one will feel like they are just at home.
Thank God for Artis! This place is a perfect fit for my Mom who has dementia. They provide activities during the day to keep the residents busy. Artis has four neighborhoods which makes life more simple and navigable for Mom. She loves her room which we call her apartment. She gets her hair done and nails done right on the premises! The staff is wonderful and caring. Keith and Renee keep my Mom busy with all their fun activities and trips out in the community. The food is very good as well, the chef is amazing, as I eat there often. I highly recommend Artis for a loved one suffering from dementia. Mom is living her best life!
I cannot say enough about the care staff, administrators and all those who make Artis the compassionate and caring home for my mom in her struggles with dementia. The facility is clean and well maintained. The caregivers go above and beyond their duties and treat each resident with dignity and respect. The caregivers that stand out to me are Keith, Milton, Lina, Melanie, Judy and Luisa. Keith is a jack of all trades leading sing-a-longs with his musical talents, giving manicures and styling and cutting hair. He also gives the best hugs. My mom has gone back to her native language of Italian and has a difficult time communicating and being understood, but each one of these caregivers and others make it their mission to get her whatever she requires. My husband and I became part of and were welcomed into the Artis community 2 years prior to my mom becoming a resident through the support group. The administrators are very hands on with the residents and family members knowing us by name and making sure we are taken care of as well. I would recommend them highly and give them 5+ stars.
