I started working here in August this year. The Executive Director, Lareen, did my orientation. from the very first day i knew i made the right choice. My boss Orlando makes working fun. Lareen is side by side working with us so hard to make the residents happy and i couldn’t ask for more. our residents make it worth it. Lareen gave us the best party this holiday gifts, music and more. We could all wish for better but I have found the BEST. It’s hard work 😓 but i’m happy. Thanks to Lareen, Jorge,Maria,Sophia, Darren, serena, Jordan and Stephanie and most of all Orlando I found my home in work. Feliz Navidad 🎁

On Dec 11th Veterans from Rockland County Homes for Heroes and the Joseph P. Dwyer Veteran Peer Support Program attended a special “Thank You” luncheon hosted by the Artis Senior Living Center in Chestnut Ridge, NY. The lunch provided the Veterans the opportunity to relax, socialize, eat and enjoy the comradery associated with military service. It is so important, epically during the holiday season, for Veterans to get together and reconfirm their commitment to not only to each other, but to the Veteran community at large. A special Thank you to Artis for providing not only the Venue but the meal and hospitality. It is through these social engagements that we strengthen the bonds between the Veterans and the community in which they live. We are truly blessed to live in a community that nurtures its Veterans and helps to ensure their well-being.

I work for an organization that provides apartments for veterans and gives them moral support. The people at Artis Senior Living invited us for a luncheon they were having for veterans and some of our clients went. The luncheon was very nice. The place was immaculate, the food was excellent and the people who ran it and who worked there were extremely nice and thankful towards the veterans.

What can I say about Artis Senior Living in Chestnut Ridge? My mom has been lucky enough to be cared for there for over a year. She’s as happy as a clam, telling me every day how happy she is, how nice everyone is, and so happy that I found it for her. The staff is great, the activities are enriching and I couldn’t recommend it any more strongly. If you need a caring assisted living and memory care facility, thus is the place. As a resident in Canada, I have heard of Artis Senior Living, specifically the Chestnut Ridge location. The employees there actively work at making the residents feel happy and comfortable from all levels of staff. The receptionist, Kam is always smiling and friendly and willing to assist the residents as required. If i lived in the area it would consider taking my loved one to this facility.

This is a wonderful community for the elderly with memory challenges. Our father is there and everyday he is out of him room involved in programming. The caregivers are kind and very patient. We are very grateful he is at Artis

Upon arrival I notice the property was very well maintained, I later found out the grounds keepers name is Orlando, it set a very nice first impression. Laureen and Stephanie assisted me with all questions I had and did a very good job making sure I was well informed of everything I needed to know. Jorge the head chef also was amazing as he went above and beyond to make sure I had a nice experience
